Store Policies

We are proud of our products and they have taken lots of time, thought, and many failures to get to where they are. While sometimes there are minor blemishes, scratches, or imperfections we do our best to make sure your products get to you in the best of quality. However, sometimes things get missed or maybe you aren't satisfied with the product for some reason. If either is the case please reach out and we will do our best to make it right or have you return the product for a refund. 

We offer a 60-day no-questions-asked replacement for any part or any order that gets damaged. All we ask is that you send us a picture of the broken piece (so we get the correct piece sent to you) and your order number/ name so that we may find your order. 


ATC and Spindle USERS

ATCs and Spindle kits can be dangerous! We have taken all precautions to ensure our ATC system is as safe as it can be. This does not mean that it is free of danger. We have added several safety features such as not allowing the spindle to unclamp the tool if the spindle is running or if there is low air pressure. When purchasing this product you are taking on the responsibility of understanding and learning how ATCs work, keeping up with maintenance, and ensuring your spindle and machine are in good working order. It is vitally important that you make sure you are setting up your tool holder locations and that the tools are clamping correctly before running your machine and cutting material. You also have to make sure that every time your machine goes to change tools the dust boot clears any workpieces or other obstacles around the tool holders.


By purchasing the ATC kit or Spindle kit from Sola Fide Designs KC you are taking responsibility for any damage including but not limited to, yourself (including death) workpieces, tool-holding equipment, machines, personal property, or other equipment. THEREFORE you (the customer) do hereby release and forever discharge the Releasee (Sola Fide Designs KC) including their agents, employees, successors and assigns, and their respective heirs, personal representatives, affiliates, successors and assigns, and any and all persons, firms or corporations liable or who might be claimed to be liable, whether or not herein named, none of whom admit any liability to the undersigned, but all expressly denying liability, from any and all claims, demands, damages, actions, causes of action or suits of any kind or nature whatsoever, which now have or may hereafter have, arising out of or in any way relating to any and all injuries and damages of any and every kind, to both person and property and also any and all injuries and damages that may develop in the future, as a result of or in any way relating to the Liability (this ATC kit or Spindle Kit).


Canadians: At this time all packages will be shipped through UPS. You will be responsible for all GST, Provincial tax, sales tax, etc, which must be paid before receiving your items. 


Warranty: Our spindle kits come with a 1-year warranty. This includes VFD,  Spindle, and spindle cable. We will work with you to troubleshoot any issue you may be having, if we can't diagnose the problem we will ask that you return the product and we will ship you out a replacement part.


Shipping: Most orders are shipped via USPS, ball screw covers and Spindle kits will be shipped through UPS, (Unless shipping to Canada) Please make sure you check your shipping address and email before checking out. We may try to contact you if we believe your address may be incorrect but will ship your order to the address provided if you do not respond.  If you would prefer a different shipping company please reach out to us BEFORE you place your order. After you place your order we try to ship your order within a few days, however, if we have an increase in sales, broken 3D printers, or other setbacks it can take up to 2 weeks to ship your products. If you need your items sooner please send us a message and we will do our best to get them to you sooner however there is no guarantee. After we ship your product you should receive an email to the email address you provided at checkout, that contains your tracking information. If you do not receive an email please contact us. 

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. If you are unsatisfied with our products please reach out and we will do our best to make it right.


We will not tolerate any rude, threatening, slanderous, or aggressive behavior. If you display any of this behavior we reserve the right to stop all communication with you and void any warranty or service we are providing you. We will always treat everyone with respect and expect the same from you. 

Our products are meant to be used by the purchaser only and not to be replicated or reproduced for profit. If, however, you want to modify or change our product for your personal use that is acceptable however may void any warranty/replacement or refund from us. 

We are not responsible for any damage caused by our products. which includes but is not limited to, yourself, personal property, workpieces, machines, or work holding equipment. However, if your product is damaged please reach out and we will work with you to get it replaced.
