For the Makita router 2.5 dust collection nighthawk:
If you purchased this boot prior to July 2022 you want the V1 brush rings,
If you purchased the 2.5 nighthawk during or after July 2022 you want the V2 brush rings.

For the 80mm dustboots V2 DOES NOT fit 1.5 brushes. 
If you bought our 80mm dust boot before May 2025 you have V1

For the Makita and 80mm dustboots with the 2.5 inch hose port if you order 2 inch brushes please keep in mind if they are to close to the work piece they WILL clog. It is recommened to only use the 2 inch brushes when doing cuts such as 3D carves.
