Works with both the Makita router and 80mm spindle, but you must have the 80mm mount from Onefinity. This kit is for those who have bought the 80mm spindle mount from Onefinity but are planning on using the Makita router for a while. This kit allows you to be able to purchase only 1 dust boot from us. (instead of one for the Makita router and one for the 80mm spindle). This is for 2.5-inch dust collection only
 
*disclaimer the Laser mount bracket from us will not work with the shim and Makita bottom.
 
** If you have the Elite foreman with the 80mm mount from Onefinity at this time if you use our thumbscrew it can hit the right front foot. The allen key screw that gets sent with your boot will still work.
 
How this works: 
You place the long shim into the 80mm spindle mount then place the Makita router into the shim and then attach the 80mm top onto the shim. The short 1-inch bottom will be used for the Makita router. Once you upgrade to the 80mm spindle you can take out the shim and attach the 80mm top directly to the spindle then use the bigger bottom made for the spindle.
What comes in this kit:
1 full 80mm 2.5 in dust boot (brush rings and hose port)
1 short bottom for use with the Makita router
1 long makita router shim.
 
NEW MATERIAL!! 80mm dust boot tops are now made from Lexan. This material is unbreakable. However this material is also easy to scratch, we do our best to keep it free of scratches however your top may come with a few slight scratches. 
 
Check out this amazing dust boot for your 80mm spindle and Makita router. This dust boot works extremely well and captures almost all of the dust accumulated from cutting material, including MDF.
The top part of the boot fixes to your router and is tightened with a thumb screw or hex bolt. The bottom part of the boot has magnets that allow the dust boot to stay attached to your router then if you need to change bits you can just pull the bottom off change your bit and reattach the boot without having to take the top off. The hose port is also magnetic which allows you to remove your hose without detaching it. The brushes are magnetic too, this allows you to be able to swap out brush sizes or replace the brushes due to wear and tear.
 
*We are only stocking black for the 80mm spindles because it takes a lot of filament to make these boots, however if you want a different color send us a message and we will gladly print a boot in another color.*
