This kit is for those who have bought the 80mm spindle mount from onefinity but are planning on using the Makita router for a while. This kit allows you to be able to purchase only 1 dust boot from us. (instead of one for the Makita router and one for the 80mm spindle). This is for 4-inch and 2.5 dust collections
 
* disclaimer these boots will not work with the bracket for the laser mounts. 
* Also since purchasing this kit means you probably do not have a spindle (and some spindles are different from others) we have made 3 options: one if you know you are going with a water-cooled spindle, one if you know you are going to go with an air-cooled spindle and one if you haven't decided which spindle you want (the 3-inch bottom will fit on either the air or water cooled spindles.)

What comes in this kit:
1 full 80mm dust boot (2 inch brush ring, 4inch hose port, thumbscrew)
1 short bottom for use with the Makita router
1 long Makita router shim.
 
How this works: 
You place the long shim into the 80mm spindle mount then place the Makita router into the shim and then attach the 80mm top onto the shim with the thumbscrew. The short 1-inch bottom will be used for the Makita router which attaches to the top with magnets. Once you upgrade to the 80mm spindle you can take out the shim and attach the 80mm top directly to the spindle then use the bigger bottom made for the spindle.

The hose port is also magnetic which allows you to remove your hose without detaching it. The brushes are magnetic too, this allows you to be able to swap out brush sizes or replace the brushes due to wear and tear. The hose port (2.5 or 4inch depending on the boot you ordered) and brush rings will fit on both the short Makita bottom and the 80mm bottom.  
 
80mm dust boot tops are made from Lexan. This material is almost unbreakable. However this material is also easy to scratch, we do our best to keep it free of scratches however your top may come with a few slight scratches.
 
What makes these special?
1. You can choose the color of your dust boot. We have red, green, orange, dark blue and yellow. We can also make other colors. So if you would like a color other than black just shoot us a message.
2. We use strong Neodymium magnetics. Which do not lose their strength over time unless exposed to very high temperatures. 
3. Printed out of ABS material which allows your boot to be more durable. 
4. While there is occasionally an imperfection we pride ourselves on having extremely high-quality prints.
